My 6- and 8-year old have been attending LA Budo since Jan. 2009. They love going to their "class" 2-3x per week. LA Budo is truly a unique martial arts school in that it continually tries to teach and encourage children to be respectful, responsible as well as how to be a team player. Earning a belt isn't just about kicks, throws and weapons. In fact, LA Budo requires the children to earn their stripes before they are tested. Stripes are received after each child reaches their self-discipline goals, job list, book club hours, homework etc. Despite all these requirements, my children are still excited about going to their class. After all, they always say that "it is so much fun! |
